and post graduate training courses in Laban/Bartenieff Movement Analysis
within the context of pedagogic and
the creative therapeutic approaches with Dance, Music and Art at Polaris
Centret in Kirke Hyllinge, Denmark.
Christine Caldwell, Ph.D.,
BC-DMT, LPC, NCC, ACS, is the founder and former director
of the Somatic Counseling Psychology Department at Naropa University in Boulder, where
she currently teaches coursework in somatic
counseling theory and skills, clinical neuro-
science,
research, and developmental psycho-logy. Her work began twenty years ago with
studies in anthropology, dance therapy, bodywork and Gestalt therapy, and has
developed
into
innovations in the field of body-centered psychotherapy. She calls her work
the Moving
Cycle, which spotlights natural play, early physical imprinting, the
transformational effect
of fully sequenced movement processes, the practice of dying, the opportunities
in addiction,
and the trust in personal essence. She has taught at the University of
Maryland, George
Washington University, Concordia, Seoul Women`s University, Southwestern
Collage, and
Santa Barbara Graduate Institute, and trains, teaches and lectures
internationally. Her books
include Getting Our Bodies Back, and Getting In Touch

Dr. Martha
Eddy, Certified Movement Analyst (CMA), Ed. D., has
designed exercise and dance programs for diverse groups
with specialized needs. She is co-founder of Moving On Center, a nonprofit
educational organization that is dedicated to
training movement specialists to use holistic physical activity in health,
education and performance-settings. Dr. Eddy maintains
a private practice as an educational consultant and as a registered somatic
therapist in New York City.

Susanne
Kukies, registered somatic movement therapist and physical
therapist in Berlin, Germany. Working in the field of
movement and healing as a performer,
dancer and practitioner since over 30 years. She is been assistant and
teacher in the
Dynamic Embodiment Somatic Movement
Therapy Training of Martha Eddy for 10 years.
